Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski captured the women’s doubles title at the WTA Internationaux de Strasbourg on Saturday in France.
Dabrowski from Ottawa teamed up with Brazil’s Luisa Stefani to beat Norway’s Ulrikke Eikeri and American Quinn Gleason in the final. The duo secured the championship with a straight-sets victory, 7-5, 6-4.
Later that day, fellow Canadian Victoria Mboko of Burlington, Ontario, fell short in the women’s singles final. American Emma Navarro claimed the title with a 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 win over Mboko.
