The City of Toronto is set to release a second batch of free tickets for its World Cup fan festival today.

Starting at 10 a.m., fans will be able to secure general admission tickets through the online portal.

The first round of 220,000 free tickets sold out within hours last week.

Toronto initially planned to charge $10 for general admission to what was promoted as a free festival, but reversed the decision after strong public backlash.

The city notes that soccer fans seeking “enhanced experiences” can purchase premium tickets priced between $100 and $300, plus tax and fees.

The fan festival will take place at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway from June 11 through July 19, on match days.
