Tanya Boychuk scored twice in the first half to lead Montreal Roses FC to a 2-1 victory over Ottawa Rapid FC in Northern Super League action on Saturday afternoon.
Choo Hyojoo netted the only goal for Ottawa, who slipped to a 3-3-0 record.
Boychuk opened the scoring for Montreal at the 15-minute mark and doubled the lead 30 minutes later.
Ottawa cut the deficit to one goal in the 62nd minute, but could not find an equalizer.
Montreal fired 16 shots total, with six on target, while Ottawa recorded 14 shots and three on target.
With the win, the Montreal Roses improve to 4-0-1, maintaining their undefeated streak in the NSL this season.
