and Zadorsky Back for Canada Women\u2019s Soccer Camp in Costa Rica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Canada&#8217;s women&#8217;s soccer team will have some key players back from injury for their upcoming training camp in Costa Rica next week.<\/p>\n<p>Forward Jordyn Huitema of the Chicago Red Stars, along with defenders Shelina Zadorsky from West Ham United and Gabrielle Carle of the Washington Spirit, are all included in the 26-player roster announced Wednesday by head coach Casey Stoney.<\/p>\n<p>All three were sidelined with various injuries in April when the ninth-ranked Canadians played three FIFA Series matches in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The Costa Rica camp roster also features newcomer Elisabeth Tse, a defender with the Washington Spirit, and midfielder Jordyn Listro of the Tampa Bay Sun, who returns to the team for the first time since June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The team will gather for training in San Jose, Costa Rica, on Sunday and will face the host nation in Cartago on June 9.<\/p>\n<p>Canada is gearing up for the CONCACAF W Championship in November, which will determine qualification for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil and the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re continuing to raise our standards every time we come together, and I&#8217;m looking forward to seeing this group do that again in this window,\u201d Stoney said in
